Getting to the know the many faces of Amber
How do I say this?
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you. These are the words of the incomparable Maya Angelou. Sharing our stories is the method we all use to survive in this world. It’s how we connect and relate to others, and it’s that connection that lets us know we are alive.
My life has been an open book since I can remember, as I’ve always been a natural born storyteller. I know first hand how one conversation can end a relationship, start a new one, land a job, heal past hurts, and so much more.
That is the power of communication: it gives us the ability to shape and influence the quality of our lives. I became The Conversation Coach as a way to help others learn how to harness the power of their own story and share it boldly, both on and off the stage.
My master’s degree in Communication Studies, years of experience teaching public speaking, and my love for people in general, enables me to do this work that I love so much. And honestly? What makes me happiest is not solely seeing you become an amazing speaker, but knowing that you’re better prepared to handle all of life’s conversations after working with me.
The only things I love more than teaching you how to unlock your story and present it with confidence as a speaker, are my geeky husband and our two beautiful daughters. Ice cream comes in a close second (Rocky Road, if we’re talking specifics!).
Now that you’ve learned a little about me, I’d love to learn more about you! Tell me: how I can help? Would you like to connect in person? Wanna stay in touch online? Either way, I can’t wait to hear from you!
Me with words is like Beyoncé on a stage: pure magic
